![]() David Totman pastors Lighthouse Tabernacle in Indianapolis, Indiana, which was founded by his parents, William and Denzil Totman, in 1950. After attending Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri, David accepted the youth pastorate at the Tabernacle in 1968 where he also directed the choir and served in the ministry of Tabernacle Christian Academy, a pre-school, day care and elementary school, operated by the church. In 1976 he became a “Wills and Estate” planner for the Assemblies of God, in Springfield, Missouri, but returned to the Tabernacle as senior pastor in 1977. David has been a member of CMI since 1983 and served for three years as Secretary of the Indiana District and for four years as the Indiana District Presbyter. He has visited a number of foreign countries on mission trips and is excited about the way God is using CMI to touch the United States as well as the rest of the world! Brenda Bigham and David, who met in high school, were married in 1965 and have two children and six grandchildren who are all actively involved in the church. David is also a member of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary where he serves as Commander of Division 1, Eighth District, Eastern Region, as well as an Operations officer for the Indiana area. He enjoys numerous outside church activities such as SCUBA diving, boating, and travel. Email:
