Jim Solomon

Jim Solomon has been in Caro, Michigan, for 31 years, starting Living Waters Chapel from a prayer group seeking a pastor. He built the present facility on seven and a half acres of land in 1989, and to God’s glory, is debt-free. His wife, Priscilla, and he have been married for 44 years, and have two married children. Their daughter Wendy is a graduate of Oral Roberts University, and is a mechanical engineer, who is presently staying at home raising three boys. Their son, Joel, is a graduate of Hope College (Michigan) and a graduate of Regent University (Virginia Beach, Virginia) and serves as the Young Adult pastor at New Life Providence church in Virginia Beach. Joel and his wife are expecting their first child in December of 2009. Jim began his ministry in November, 1967, as a lay-pastor and unofficial chaplain’s assistant aboard the USS Ranger, during the Viet Nam war, until discharged in 1970. He has been part of Calvary Ministries International since September, 2000. He was encouraged by CMI relationships he had developed prior to that time that made the transition into CMI very natural. Jim was elected to serve as the Michigan Presbyter in 2003. CMI has provided him ministry opportunities, quality fellowship, and most importantly, a covering to say he belongs to a fellowship of like-minded believers.  He believes the best years are ahead for CMI and desires to be a part of the harvest God has in store for the Church and CMI’s part in all that God seeks to do in these last days.
