Johnny Sloan - Fellowship Development Ministries

Johnny Wade Sloan is the overseer of Fellowship Development Ministries. Johnny began ministry at 13 years of age before entering full time ministry in 1967, at age 17. He and his wife, Dianne, serve as Pastors of Hamilton Christian Center in Hamilton, Ohio. They have led the congregation of over 1000 people through several stages of change bringing numerical and financial growth, and expanded and effective ministries. He has preached in a South American jungle and offered prayer before the United States Senate with the same sincerity and sensitivity. A native of Colorado, in early childhood Johnny suffered at the hand of an abusive father. God used this to ingrain deep family values in him. He is a man with a "big heart" who has a genuine love and compassion for people. He and his wife have raised two sons, Sean Wade and Martyn Vaughn, who are ordained ministers. Johnny is active within the community, standing strong for Judeo-Christian values. He served 8 years on the Butler County Children's Services Board (1989-1996). During the 4 years he served as Chairman, he helped oversee the 10 million-dollar budget used to care for abused, neglected, and dependent children in Butler County, Ohio. In the mid 1980's, he was a "key man" in the founding and developing of the first Christian Radio Station in Lorain County, Ohio. His conviction that there is "only one Lord and only one Church" has led him to reach toward people of all faiths. His desire for unity within the body of Christ has been evident in the leadership he has provided to the Pentecostal and Evangelical churches in the cities where he has served as pastor. He desires to see ministers become a single flame of fire.
