Jon Paul Robles - Worship / Arts Ministries

Jonathan “JP” Robles is an overseer of Worship / Arts Ministries. He is the son of Pastoral Overseer Abel Robles, of Calvary Temple Worship Center in New Castle, Pennsylvania, and has served as the Minister of Music and Media as well as an Associate Minister since 2004. Raised a preacher’s kid, he came to know the Lord at a young age. As equal parts musician and audio engineer, he directs worship and oversees most media related projects at his home church. He is married to Diana, his best friend since childhood. His background has impacted the way he views ministry. JP says, “Today the use of multi-media has become a reality within the church. The borders that divide the fields of music, graphic design, audio and video, are blending more and more together. The important thing is to always be mindful of our objective, which is to give God glory not wow and awe people for the sake of entertainment.” With a passion for cross-cultural worship, JP blends multiple generational and cultural influences into his musical approach to worship. His heart is lead by the spirit of reconciliation within the church, to bring people of different backgrounds, ethnicities and ages together under the call of Christian oneness. In his spare time he’s likely to be found taking apart devices in hopes of fixing them (occasionally meeting that goal), laughing loudly with his wife, family and friends, and reading theological commentaries.  Both JP and Diana are graduates of Youngstown State University with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Telecommunications, focusing on television and radio production, and Full Sail University where JP received an Associate Degree in Recording Arts and Diana in Film.
