Dr. Paul C. Paino, cmiGlobal Overseer Emeritus

Dr. Paul C. Paino has been actively involved in Christian ministry for nearly 40 years.  He holds Bachelor of Arts and Master of Divinity degrees from Oral Roberts University, and a Doctor of Theology degree from Andersonville Baptist Seminary.  He completed his Ph.D. at Trinity Theological Seminary.  Dr. Paino was the Founder/President of PC Associates, representing several Christian Recording artists.  He was also the founder of Fellowship of Contemporary Christian Ministries (FCCM), an organization of artists, publishers, and promoters.

In addition, Dr. Paino is a former professor of Christian Training Center and is currently a professor of Central Theological College.  He also served on the Board of Regents of Oral Roberts University for over five years.

After graduating from ORU in 1970, Dr. Paino returned to his hometown of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and began pastoring Calvary Temple Worship Center, the church his father planted in 1956.  During the next 35 years, the congregation became the largest in Fort Wayne, and Calvary Temple Worship Center was recognized as one of the leading Charismatic churches in the nation.

In 2001, Dr. Paino, along with his father, co-founded Carroll Road Christian Church, where he served as Senior Pastor until 2007.  From 2007-2011 Dr. Paul has served as General Overseer of Calvary Ministries International.  During the 2011 Annual Business Meeting of CMI, Dr. Paul shifted into the position he now holds as Overseer Emeritus.

In 2008 Dr. Paino had the opportunity to become associated with The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews.  The Fellowship, under the leadership of the founder, Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein, is being used to unite Christians and Jews in a co-operative way in order to minister to suffering Jews around the world who are enduring tremendous persecution.  Through this ministry, over 300,000 Jews have been brought to Israel, primarily from the former Soviet Union.  Dr. Paino serves IFCJ through the Church Relations Department by representing their cause in various conferences, conventions, and also to church leaders across America.

He and his wife, Sharon, still make their home in Fort Wayne.
