Tom Tomson  - Ministerial Preparation Ministries

Tom Tomson is the overseer of Ministerial Preparation Ministries. He is ordained with CMI and Pastor/President of Lighthouse of Hope Church Ministries in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, since 1998. Tom is also President of Calvary Theological Training Center as well as an instructor for the college. He is Vice-President of the Westmoreland Christian Academy School Board overseeing grades Pre-K thru 12^th grade. He has also served as the boy’s high school basketball coach at Westmoreland Christian Academy for the last 10 years. He has been actively involved in ministry since receiving God’s call at age 16, in 1974. For 35 years his ministry experience includes music ministry, youth pastor, associate pastor, church planter and senior pastor. He has degrees in Theology, Christian Education, Biblical Studies, Paul and Timothy Program, and an Honorary Doctorate of Literature degree from Omega Bible Institute and Seminary. Tom and his wife Brenda were married in 1977 and have five sons and a wonderful daughter-in-law, Karin. Brenda is the assistant principal and an elementary teacher at Westmoreland Christian Academy, and a talented musician for the church. Jordan, their oldest son, is the principal/Athletic Director at Westmoreland Christian Academy and also assistant basketball coach. Jordan’s wife, Karin, is involved in the school and college while working as an insurance representative for State Farm. Justin is a licensed minister with CMI, youth pastor and musician for Lighthouse of Hope, Bible and history teacher for Westmoreland Christian Academy and also an assistant basketball coach. Joshua, their third son to graduate from Westmoreland Christian Academy, was named to the first team high school All American Basketball Team and is playing college ball. Jeremy is a senior at Westmoreland Christian Academy. He was named to the High School All American Basketball Team as a junior. He is a musician and pursuing God’s call in music ministry. Jacob, their youngest, is entering the 7^th grade, loves playing basketball, loves music and loves serving God.
